ONGOING PROJECTS:

Project on Shitake Mushroom Cultivation, Ginger and Gurgum Cultivation
In four districts of central and south east districts of Bhutan

Objective: Enhance rural income through the creation of self help group of needy women.

These projects are an outcome of the Annual Review Meeting for the 1st project on Medicinal Herb Cultivation.  One of the major issues discussed during the meeting was the initiation of the 2nd Phase of the 1st project.

Out of four projects, NWAB started two projects in the central district of Bhutan and another two similar projects are in pipe-line.
