Operating Principals

In implementing the project, NWAB, related agencies and the Women’s Group will be guided by values such as accountability, commitment, excellence, innovation and teamwork. All personnel involved in the project are expected to adhere to the following operating principles:

• Operate in an environment of good faith. Good faith assumes basic honesty and integrity.
• Exercise professional judgment in day to day operations as well as in the implementation of the project.
• Present clear, accurate and timely information to relevant parties for decision making and management.
• Ensure the most efficient and effective allocation of resources through sound planning and objective oriented project activities.

Activities done by the Dzongkhag Women’s Association:

• Fund Raising
• Sponsor education for the under privilege children out of the fund raised
• Support the handicapped and  helpless women and families in the rural
• Create employment opportunities among the teenage mothers
• Create awareness of STD/HIV among rural women
• Looking after the welfare of the destitute person
