Project on Telefood

Objective: The core objective of the Project is to create awareness on income generating activities in rural area and raise the living standard of poor people.

About 50 households in one of the remote part of eastern Bhutan were identified for the project on telefood.  These people come from a poor back ground with less or no agricultural land.  It consisted mainly women headed family without husband.  Most of them were disabled like blind, deaf, dumb and absence of limbs.

The project is supported by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)
