NWAB Core Values
NWAB’s core values emanate from its belief in the potential and rights of Bhutanese women. NWAB upholds the following belief:

1. Women must have equal standing in the social, cultural, political and economic life of the society where she lives.
2. Women have potential to be a positively contributing member in her family, community and her society.
3. With the right skills and in an enabling environment women can be responsible parents, partner and citizen.

  
Altruism: Be motivated by a strong belief in helping others in need.

1. We are driven by the need to simply give ourselves to the need of others out of the Buddhist value of compassion.
2. We hold no expectation of any favor for the work we commit for the cause of others.
3. The small joys we may bring to others’ lives shall be our inspiration to make selfless sacrifices.

Innovation: To encourage and implement creative solutions to women issues, problems and needs.

1. We will value and enable unique ideas and take actions on these to generate solutions for women’s needs.
2. We will constantly endeavor to make efficient use of resources and technology available to create effective solutions.
3. We will promote innovative approaches with our partners and alliances to address issues pertaining to women.

Integrity: Be honest, fair and just in all our dealings among ourselves and with our partners and beneficiaries.

1. We will be honest in all our dealings with one another, with stakeholders and the community in which we function.
2. We will be fair and just in our approaches and solutions that we offer to those who work with us and to whom we work for.
3. We hold ourselves the highest level of ethical conduct and pursue consciously to be perceived as being ethical by our stakeholders and the community around us.
